DZL Records announces « Blazing, » a new co-primary single from Dale Virgo and Blaze Mob that brings Dale’s Ragga Rave concept into focus. Influenced by Dale’s experience living in Los Angeles, Ragga Rave is his deliberate musical experiment: placing Jamaican-rooted vocal culture inside Afro House, Dancehall House and rave movement to discover how those energies can move together. The track is distributed by Tuff Gong International
Blaze Mob brings an established roots-reggae lineage to that experiment. The group comprises brothers Shaka “Rock” Dennis, Gyasi “Gong” Dennis and “King” Saeed Dennis, who grew up in Kingston, Jamaica. They are the sons of Garth Dennis, whose career included membership in the Wailing Souls and Black Uhuru, and they later developed their own path in Southern California’s reggae community.
On « Blazing, » Dale tests the Ragga Rave idea through a warm, hypnotic dance record while Blaze Mob carries the roots-reggae voice and family heritage at its center. The repeated “We blazing” hook turns the experiment into a direct, communal moment built to travel across DJ sets, dance playlists, radio mixes and movement-led visual content.
The release begins a wider conversation around what Ragga Rave means, how living in Los Angeles influenced Dale’s experiment and how Blaze Mob’s Kingston roots and Dennis family legacy inform the record. Interviews will give Dale and the collaborators space to explain the concept, heritage and creative choices in their own words.
